The exam is online, and you can take it from home or work, anywhere in the world.

The PRINCE2® 7 Practitioner exam format:
  • Online
  • Proctored
  • 70 questions
  • Scenario-based, multiple-choice questions
  • 60% passing score
  • 150 minutes duration
  • Open book (only the official manual)

You will need to renew this certificate every 3 years by passing a re-registration exam or with PRINCE2 membership and demonstrating your professional development.

You must have at least one of the following certificates before taking the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam:

  • PRINCE2 Foundation
  • PMP®
  • CAPM®
  • IPMA Level A, B, C, or D
The exam process:
  1. After your purchase, we will contact you to confirm your information.
  2. Then we register you with the PeopleCert and send you the exam voucher. The voucher will be valid for 12 months.
  3. You can use the exam voucher to set the date and time of your exam with the examination institute.
  4. At the date and time that you’ve set, you will go online and take the exam. The exam is proctored online.
  5. You’ll receive the result at the end of the exam.
  6. If you pass the exam, the electronic certificate will be emailed to you in a few days.
  7. If you fail the exam, you’ll need to pay for and take the exam again.
